Puffer Bird

Overview: 

This game addresses air pollution in a battle between a puffer bird and polluted air units. 

Puffer bird possesses characteristics of a pufferfish that can fly. The game takes place in the sky where the puffer bird encounters polluted air units. In order to reduce the air pollution level, it needs to defeat these units.  

Polluted air units will continuously be spawned. It is important to keep track of the air pollution level to make sure you stay in the safe zone.

The game was developed for Mini Jam 153: Fishing with the limitation "No Water" from Mar 1 to Mar 4, 2024.

Game controls:

• Movement: W A S D
• Inflate/deflate: Left mouse button (to inflate, the puffer bird needs to consume mini polluted air units)
• Attack in puffed state: Right mouse button
• Toggle paused panel: Escape

 Features: 

• Side-scrolling action movement and combat
• Short playtime with simple gameplay
• Original pixel art
